Read on Macy’s own pages on September 24, 2026. Macy’s publishes three separate first-time offers — 25% off for email sign-up, a further 25% for texts, and 30% off for opening a Macy’s card — and it also states, plainly, that only one promo code can be applied per order. Anything we could not read is listed under “What we could not verify”, marked Unconfirmed.

Answer first: Macy’s offers 25% off for first-time email subscribers (the code arrives in a confirmation email and can be used once), a further 25% off for texts (text MAGIC to 62297), and 30% off macys.com purchases the day you open a Macy’s card, saving up to $100. Because Macy’s states only one promo code can be applied per order, the useful question is which of these is biggest for your basket — not how to stack them.

So which of the three offers should I take?

Macy’s publishes the amounts but not a comparison, so we state none. What we can say from Macy’s own wording: the card offer is 30% but capped at $100 and tied to opening a card; the email and text offers are 25% each and the email code is single-use. Since only one code applies per order, the arithmetic is yours to do at the bag.
