How fast you earn

Ulta’s worked example in the terms: “$19.99 x 1 point per dollar = 19.99 points, which is rounded down to 19 points.” Platinum earns “1.25 points for every one dollar spent” and Diamond “1.5 points for every one dollar spent.”

“ALL POINTS EXPIRE AT THE END OF THE CALENDAR QUARTER FOLLOWING THE TWELVE (12) MONTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DATE THE POINTS WERE EARNED BY THE MEMBER. Calendar quarter end dates are December 31, March 31, June 30, and September 30. For example, points earned on November 1, 2025 will expire on December 31, 2026.”

“Purchases of gift cards, redemption of merchandise vouchers, and any type of price adjustments, including merchandise returns, are not eligible for points.” Points also cannot be redeemed on “gift card purchases, tips” and charitable donations, and “Points earned in a transaction cannot be redeemed in the same transaction.”

  • UNCONFIRMEDWhat this year’s birthday gift actually is. Ulta does not name it on the pages checked. The terms only say “a birthday gift each year, while supplies last” and, for Platinum and Diamond, “currently, a perk sent via email and in the Ulta Beauty app, subject to change.”
  • UNCONFIRMEDAny specific fixed points figure tied to a birthday. Some searches pair Ulta rewards with a specific point number. Ulta’s own pages publish a multiplier (2X during the birthday month) and per-dollar earning rates, and we found no fixed birthday point total or named tier figure in the copy of the pages we checked — so we are not stating one.
  • UNCONFIRMEDThe redemption values above 2,000 points. Ulta says only “point values in excess of the below chart values can be found in the Ulta Beauty app or online in the Member’s Account dashboard, based upon the Member’s current points balance.” That is account-specific and not published as a static chart.
